Cows have been part of Shep’s life for as long as he can remember. Raised on a dairy farm in southern Ontario, he later built his own dairy farm in Iowa and spent his life working alongside these animals. Quite simply, his life doesn’t exist without cows in it. While he may not say it outright, his actions speak clearly — he has a deep respect for them and a genuine love for the relationship they offer. He knows how much cows give through their calm, generous presence and is excited to share that experience with people from all walks of life.
My own path has been shaped by a long pursuit of happiness and well-being, taking me around the world and eventually to India, where I studied yoga and Ayurvedic medicine. I was inspired by a culture that treats cows with deep reverence, seeing them as symbols of selflessness, abundance, gentleness, and care for life. I love being able to share this experience here in such a simple, hands-on way. When people step into the corral, something shifts — not dramatically, but in a quiet, feel-good way.
One of the greatest joys of this work is connecting with the people who come through the corral. Meeting guests, hearing their stories, and sharing time together — alongside the cows — has a way of multiplying that joy. We feel deeply grateful to be living this dream together on Maui and look forward to welcoming you.

We know you have questions! Here are the answers to the things people ask us most, so you can feel confident and cozy before your visit.
Right now we are not scheduling advanced bookings, everyone just walks right in!
We do not currently offer private sessions, but we are happy to work with local tour guides and touring vans to coordinate group rates… ask your tour guide or travel agency to reach out to us!
We are a cashless farm. We happily accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as all contactless payments.
Absolutely. We love welcoming families, and kids often have the most joyful time with the cows. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
We encourage you to stay as long as you like! But most visits last about 30–45 minutes, depending on the group and how much time you’d like to spend with the cows.
Yes! Photos and videos are encouraged — we just ask that you’re respectful of the animals and the experience. Please tag us on FB or IG
